A furniture retail website audit from people who run a furniture store
Most website audits are a Lighthouse score and forty generic recommendations — none of which know that your real conversion happens on a showroom floor.
Our private teardown reviews your site the way a demanding furniture shopper experiences it: product discovery, PDP anxiety points, delivery clarity, the path to your showroom, and whether anything answers a real question after 6pm. You get specific findings, ranked, whether or not we ever work together.

The real problem
What generic audits miss about furniture
Tools and agencies audit furniture sites like SaaS landing pages. The business physics are different, so the findings are noise.
They optimize for the wrong conversion
If ~90% of revenue closes in-store, an audit fixated on cart abandonment misses the point. The showroom path — invisible to generic tooling — is where the money leaks.
They can't evaluate product discovery
An auditor who's never sold a sectional doesn't test 'performance fabric, 110 inches, in stock' against your search. That query failing IS the finding — and no crawler surfaces it.
They skip the anxiety audit
Delivery costs, white-glove tiers, custom lead times, returns on floor models — high-AOV purchases stall on missing certainty. Generic audits check that pages exist, not that they answer.
They end in a PDF, not a plan
Forty findings without sequencing is homework, not help. Operators need to know which three things are bleeding revenue now and what fixing them costs.
What we install
What the teardown covers
A working session's worth of findings, specific to your store, delivered privately.
Shopper-brief testing
We run realistic high-intent briefs against your search, collections, and PDPs and document exactly where each one dies.
Anxiety-point review
Delivery, financing, returns, lead times, fit — where each answer lives, whether a stalled shopper would find it, and what its absence costs.
Web-to-store path map
Every route from your site to your floor — showroom mentions, visit CTAs, design services, local inventory — and where each one leaks.
Ranked findings and an honest fit read
What to fix first regardless of vendor, plus a straight answer on whether ShowroomOps fits your situation. If it doesn't, we say so — a bad-fit client costs us more than a candid no.

First implementation
Built and proven inside a real furniture store
The lens comes from operating: we've run these same audits against our own store for years, and the concierge system exists because of what they kept finding.
ShowroomOps was built inside our own high-end furniture store — one large destination showroom, a deep new-and-consignment catalog, and a sales floor that closes most of the revenue. Live catalog, real policies, real customers. We share the store's identity and full detail privately, on the teardown call.
- outsold in one, at pace
- 5 yrs
- 2026 store revenue is pacing past the previous five years of sales combined.
- June revenue, year over year
- 4.05×
- $628K in June 2026, with July projected near $765K.
- chat-assisted revenue in 14 days
- $27.5K
- Orders matched to concierge conversations after auto-answer went live — chat volume roughly doubled, and matched revenue ran at a ~$60K/month pace.
How we count: We report the store's numbers as the store's numbers and assisted revenue as matched orders — never claimed lift from any single tool. The growth came from the whole operating stack working together: buying, marketing, catalog, concierge, and measurement. We'd rather under-claim and show you the methodology.

Self-Setup System
You implement it$25K one-time
+ $500/month software
The same system we run in our own store, handed to your team to implement in logical order with our complete self-setup guide.
The 90-day launch guarantee
“If we do not launch your concierge, ingest your catalog and policies, train it on your top questions, and generate the agreed qualified sales conversations or showroom/design leads within 90 days, we work free until we do, up to two additional months.”
This is an implementation guarantee, not a revenue guarantee — nobody can honestly guarantee revenue in a seasonal, omnichannel business. What we can guarantee is that the system gets built, launched, and producing the agreed conversations and leads, or you stop paying the retainer while we finish the job.
The launch guarantee applies to Custom, done-for-you engagements. The Self-Setup System is a one-time purchase your team implements with the guide.
Questions
Frequently asked
What does the audit cost?
Nothing. It's how we start every relationship — a small commitment on your side, real work on ours, and a clean basis for deciding whether to go further. It is genuinely useful standalone; that's deliberate.
What do you need from us?
The short form on the teardown page: your site, platform, approximate revenue range, and your biggest current problem. No analytics access, no call required to receive findings. If we proceed to an engagement afterward, deeper access comes then.
How is this different from a CRO or SEO audit?
It's a furniture-retail audit. We test product discovery with real shopper briefs, review the anxiety points that stall high-ticket buyers, and map the web-to-store path most audits don't know exists. Speed scores and meta tags matter, but they're not where a furniture site loses five-figure customers.
Is the audit just a sales pitch for your product?
The findings stand on their own and most are fixable without us. Yes, we built a concierge system and we'll tell you where it would help — with our own store's numbers and their caveats, not invented projections. But if your fundamentals need work before an AI layer makes sense, the audit says that too.
How long until we get the teardown?
We reply within two business days of your request to confirm fit and timing; the teardown itself typically follows within a week. We do a limited number each month because each one is done by hand, by an operator.
Request your private teardown
Tell us your site and your biggest problem. We'll walk it like a $4,000 shopper, map where revenue leaks, and hand you ranked findings — useful whether or not we ever build anything together.
The teardown is free and delivered live on a 30-minute call by the operator who built the system. We onboard a small number of retailers at a time — each system is built from real catalog and policy data.
